Kids grow up -- and fast! So you really have to stay on top of things when it comes to their health care coverage. That's why BlueChoice HealthPlan has a health plan for kids only -- coverage that protects them from age 6 weeks through 24.
BlueChoice for Kids has five benefit plans to choose from at affordable monthly or quarterly premiums. You'll choose a primary care physician from our state-wide network. That doctor will coordinate your child's health care, and even file claims for you.
- BlueChoice for Kids covers:
- Doctor's office visits
- Well-child visits and immunizations
- Prescription drug card -- copayment for generic drugs, preferred drugs and non-preferred drugs.
- Vision care -- free annual eye exam.
- Dental care -- $30 towards cleaning (one per benefit period) and $20 towards routine exam (one per benefit period).
