In 2026, we are offering two individual products, Blue Option and Palmetto Option.
Blue Option continues to deliver the value-added programs you've come to expect — including BlueCard® access for out-of-state coverage. It’s the ideal choice for those who want comprehensive benefits and flexibility.
Palmetto Option is our newest, competitively priced plan for 2026. It’s perfect for anyone who doesn't need out-of-state access or chiropractic care, but still wants all our great value-added benefits. Palmetto Option gives you a lower-cost alternative with access to our expansive in-state EPO network.
Both Blue Option and Palmetto Option plans offer:
- All-Inclusive Office Visit Copayment
Our all-inclusive office visit copayment saves you money when you visit a participating in-network provider, you will only be responsible for a single copayment for all covered services rendered during your appointment on the same date as billed by the doctor.
Most importantly, there are no dollar maximums to worry about! This benefit applies to all plans that have a copayment.
- Complete Prescription Drug Coverage
Our individual plans include comprehensive pharmacy services, offering coverage for a broad range of prescription medications. Our aim is to provide you with access to safe and effective drugs while ensuring that your costs remain manageable.
You can either purchase your medications at a retail pharmacy or have them conveniently delivered to your home through our mail-order program.
- Comprehensive Vision Coverage
All individual plans feature vision coverage for both pediatric and adult patients, provided through an independent company, EyeMed®, on behalf of BlueChoice®.
You have access to the right mix of in-network providers, including independent eye doctors and popular retailers such as LensCrafters®, Target Optical® and Pearle Vision®. You can even use your benefits online at Glasses.com, ContactsDirect.com, LensCrafters.com, TargetOptical.com, Ray-Ban.com, and Oakley.com
- Dental Coverage
Start smiling, because all of our individual plans include a reimbursement for preventive care, which includes exams and cleanings from a licensed South Carolina dentist.
Adults and children get access to one dental exam and one preventive cleaning every six months, each with a $50 allowance.
