First Sun Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

First Sun EAP provides a broad array of services designed to help people and encourage success. Because First Sun is a separate company from BlueChoice HealthPlan of South Carolina, First Sun will be responsible for all services related to the employee assistance program. These services are free to you and those in your household.

Counseling sessions

First Sun provides three free counseling sessions per person per contract year for you and those in your household for individual, couples and family counseling. Counseling sessions can help with:

  • Grief and loss.
  • Trauma issues.
  • Anger management.
  • Marital/relationship issues.
  • Family conflict.
  • Stress management.
  • Spiritual concerns.
  • Alcohol/substance abuse.
