With Blue CareOnDemand Powered by MDLIVE, your employees can visit with a doctor wherever they are via smartphone, tablet or computer. Doctors will diagnose and write prescriptions as appropriate.
How can your employees get started?
It's easy for your employees to get started with Blue CareOnDemand Powered by MDLIVE. First, they will need to log in to their My Health Toolkit® account. Once they have logged in, they'll need to select Providers & Services, then
For those using My Health Toolkit mobile, they'll need to select Find Care, then Video Visit. Then they can follow the instructions to register.
Please note, your employees can’t register for Blue CareOnDemand Powered by MDLIVE through the MDLIVE app. If it’s their first time accessing Blue CareOnDemand, they will need to follow the instructions above to register through My Health Toolkit.
When should your employees use Blue CareOnDemand?
- If they should see a doctor, but can't fit it into their schedule
- The doctor's office is closed
- They are too sick to drive
- They have kids at home
- They are traveling
- They need advice on behavioral health counseling or lactation consulting
What types of conditions can Blue CareOnDemand doctors treat?

Please note this service is only offered to applicable employer groups and members. Your employees may call the Customer Service number located on the back of their member ID cards to confirm if this service is available to them or you may contact your Marketing Representative to confirm if this benefit is available to your employer group.
